Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Emotionography Academy (academy.emotionography.co.kr) is operated by Emotionography (Republic of Korea). Purchases in U.S. dollars are sold by EMOCEAN LLC (USA) through Stripe. "We" means both, as applicable.
2. What we provide
Video courses, browser-based guided journals, printable PDF workbooks, certificates, and AI comments on journal entries once that feature launches. Our content is educational. It does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, or emergency support.
3. Accounts
You sign in with Google or Naver. Your account is created on first sign-in, and purchases are tied to that account. Children under 14 need a parent or guardian's consent. You can delete your account at any time from My learning.
4. Products and prices
- All-Access Membership: $7.99 for 31 days or $59 for 365 days. It does not renew automatically.
- PDF workbooks: $9.99 each, bundles as listed in the store.
- Free to try before you buy: journal days 1–3 and the first lesson of every course.
5. Refunds
- Membership: a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not used paid content. After you start using it, we refund the unused days minus 10% of the price.
- PDF workbooks: a full refund within 7 days if you have not downloaded the file. Downloaded files are non-refundable unless they are defective or not as described.
- Email emotionography@my-emo.com to request a refund. We respond within 3 business days.
6. Your content and ours
What you write is yours. It is stored on our servers only if you agree, and you can delete it at any time. Our courses and workbooks are protected by copyright. Purchased PDFs are for your personal use. Please do not share or resell them.
7. Community space
Only sentences you choose are shared in the community space. Posts that harm others, reveal personal information, or are unlawful are not allowed and may be hidden for review.
8. Changes and availability
We may update or pause the service for maintenance. If paid access is interrupted for our reasons, we extend or refund it. We announce changes to these terms at least 7 days in advance.
9. Law
Purchases in U.S. dollars are made with EMOCEAN LLC under applicable U.S. law. Purchases in Korean won are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Nothing here limits consumer rights you have where you live.
